Welcome to Burrowmoor Primary School. Our school was built in 1906 as one of the first schools in March and through the years it has grown and evolved to reflect the community it serves. We have provision for children aged 2 – 11 years, with our onsite Nursery providing care for the youngest children. We have a wrap-around care facility; BOOSC (Burrowmoor Out of School Club), run by school staff that provides a vital service for our working parents and carers.
At Burrowmoor Primary School our aim is that children receive an exciting, broad and rich curriculum that prepares them for their lifelong journey. We use our “Fantastic 5” to promote positive attitudes to learning which reflect the values and skills necessary for ongoing success.
These values are integral to what we do, who we are and who we aspire to be.
Every child has access to a wide curriculum that provides an engaging range of high quality learning activities and opportunities including; visits out, visitors into school and quality learning resources, delivered by a team of staff who care passionately about the success of every child. Children will have opportunities to engage with many enrichment activities such as residential trips, musical instrument tuition, being part of sports teams and taking part in events in the local community.
At Burrowmoor Primary School we place great importance on working in close partnership with our families and will invite and encourage you to be part of your child’s learning journey at all stages. We look forward to working with you in order to support your child throughout their time with us.
