Letter to Reception, Y1 and Y6

22 June 2020

20th June 2020

Dear Parents and Carers of Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 Children,

Firstly, thank you for your continued support and co-operation throughout this difficult time. It is now time for us to organise our final phase of opening for the above year groups that we have already welcomed back into school. The first phase of this re-opening has gone very smoothly and staff, parents and children have all commented on how safe and happy they feel with the strict, but very necessary measures that we have put in place.

We currently have spaces in our existing bubbles for Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 children without mixing any of the bubbles. As some parents indicated on the Trust survey that they might like to review whether their child attends school later in the term, we would like to give you the opportunity to take up a place for your child from week beginning 29th June until the end of term. We need to know if you would like a place by Wednesday 24th June at 3pm so that we can plan for the new children and organise them into the bubbles accordingly, letting you know timings and days etc that we can offer them. For Reception and Year 1 this will be a maximum of 2 days per week and for Year 6, 1 day per week.

All children who currently attend school in the Keyworker / vulnerable children bubbles or Year group bubbles will continue exactly as they have been doing with no changes at the moment. You do not need to do anything.

If your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 6 and you would like them to start attending from week beginning 29th June until the end of term then you need to email the school office please and request a place. It will not be possible to add children into bubbles after this date.

If you have any questions, then please contact us via phone or email to the school office.

Kindest regards

Diane Hawkes
