Information regarding the collection of exercise books.

9 April 2020

Good afternoon everyone, we hope that you are all safe and well.

Just an update on the collection of books that I referred to last week. All exercise books have now been collated in school and are ready for you to collect. We will have the books available for you on Tuesday 14th April and Wednesday 15th April and will be allocating time slots for Year groups, please do try and stick to these timings to make it safer for all.

The slots will be as follows:

 TUESDAY 14TH APRIL

9 - 10.30 am  - Year 6

10.30 - 12 noon - Year 5

12 noon - 1.30 pm - Year 4

1.30 pm - 3 pm - Year 3

WEDNESDAY 15TH APRIL

9 - 10.30 am  - Nursery

10.30 - 12 noon - Reception

12 noon - 1.30 pm - Year 1

1.30 pm - 3 pm - Year 2

Please note - If you have more than 1 child at school (including Nursery) then ALL of your children's books will be together and named on a FAMILIES table, so please only come once during one of the year group slots relevant to your family. If you only have 1 child in school, then please go to the table marked for that year group to collect your books. There will be a member of staff there to facilitate this!

Please note that there will be a system for collection to make sure that we are adhering to the Government guidelines for social distancing. Please enter the school site via the entrance closest to the bike sheds, there will be lines on the floor (probably chalk) at 2m intervals, please do respect these. You will be able to come to the desks to collect your books one by one, and then leave in a timely fashion via the playground and out through the gate at the opposite end of the school, back out onto Burrowmoor Road. Please don't forget something to carry the books  in should you need it.

We will not be supervising the queuing/waiting arrangements on the pavement in front of school, so please do maintain a distance of 2m from other parents should there be lot of people waiting- this remains your responsibility.

Please contact us if you have any queries about this.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy Easter. Stay safe, look after each other, eat as much chocolate as you can and let's count our blessings.

We look forward, as always, to the time when we will be welcoming your children back into school.

 With our very best wishes

 The Burrowmoor Team.
