Fenland District Council have sent the school some recycling resources that you may wish to access at home. Before the lock down, we had booked in a visitor from the 'Getting it Sorted' recycling team to come in and deliver an assembly about recycling. Unfortunately, this had to be put on hold but will be arranged when we all return back to school.
Many parents also took part in a survey about recycling earlier in the year and helped to raise some money for our school. Thank you everyone who took part in this.
We hope that you will enter the 'Recycling hero' colouring competition as there is a chance to win a prize! You can choose to colour or draw your own recycling hero. There are some templates attached to help you. You can also display your creations in your window or somewhere to show your support to your bin crew. If you want to make your hero famous, share them on social media with the hashtags #recyclinghero and #gettingitsorted. Closing date - 20th July 2020.
For full competition T&Cs and for access to more free resources visit www.fenland.gov.uk/volunteers. The team hope to add more activities in the future too!
Have fun, Mrs Willatt.
