Opening up the world for our children and families.

Our school was built in 1906 as one of the first schools in March. Through the years it has grown and evolved to reflect the community it serves. We have provision for children aged 2 – 11 years, with our onsite Nursery providing care for the youngest children. We have a wrap-around care facility; BOOSC (Burrowmoor Out of School Club), run by school staff that provides a vital service for our working parents and carers.

At Burrowmoor Primary School our aim is that children receive an exciting, broad and rich curriculum that prepares them for their lifelong journey. We want to support them in broadening their horizons and, alongside family members, display high levels of aspiration.

Every child has access to a full curriculum that provides an engaging range of high quality learning activities and learning opportunities. The curriculum has been designed to build upon children's knowledge and skills base year upon year.

At our school, we place great importance on working in close partnership with our families and will invite and encourage you to be part of your child’s learning journey at all stages. We look forward to working with you in order to support your child throughout their time with us.
