SEND School and Community

The Cambridgeshire area SEND Inspection gets underway next Monday, March 20. And the county’s parent carer forum, Pinpoint, is making sure parent carers' voices are heard in the process.

The inspection looks at how well the area is providing for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities since the SEND reforms of September 2014. To capture as many comments as possible, Pinpoint has an online parent survey  at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/SEND-Mar17

Parent carers are urged to take the survey by Sunday March 19, so that Pinpoint can pass them to inspectors on Monday.   The area will not be inspected again for five years, so do give your feedback if you can.  The inspection applies to services for children and young people with EHCPs, statements and SEN Support.

Parents are also being involved in a webinar, meetings and discussions during the week. Full details on the Pinpoint website. http://www.pinpoint-cambs.org.uk/Cambridgeshire-area-SEND-Inspection-March-2017
